Dr. Dilip To Speak at One Lucky District 23 Club
You may have noticed that there’s a lot of talk around Toastmasters about reinvesting in yourself and renewing your commitment. Yes, it’s that time of the year, and no doubt, a small investment gets you big growth for the next six months.
As if the prizes of growth, confidence and self-improvement weren’t enough, District 23 is adding all kinds of incentives for clubs and members who are on top of their renewal and Distinguished Club Program game.
Chief among them is entry into a drawing to have Past International President Dilip Abayasekara, DTM, AS, speak at your meeting. Clubs submitting at least eight renewals by March 28 will be entered into the drawing, and the winner will arrange with Dr. Dilip, as he is affectionately known, virtually attend and speak at a club meeting.
Dr. Dilip, who served as president of Toastmasters International in 2005-2006, has trained and inspired thousands of people in many different industries throughout the United States and nine other countries since he launched his training, speech coaching and professional speaking business in 1994. His firm, Dr. Dilip, LLC, empowers individuals and organizations to unleash their communication and performance potential and change their world.
He was twice a finalist at Toastmasters International’s World Championship of Public Speaking, placing second in 1992. He is among a small number of Toastmasters who have received accreditation by Toastmasters International for professional level speaking skills and outstanding contributions in public speaking.

A $25 Toastmasters gift certificate for the first eight clubs to submit renewals for at least eight members. (Leadership clubs and new clubs chartered in 2021 are excluded.)
