During District 23’s Spring 2018 Conference in Lubbock, Texas, members gathered, contestants spoke, candidates ran, and leaders led.
The spring conference featured Pathways presentations by Sally Newell-Cohen, the COO of Toastmasters International, two keynotes by Sam Medina of Lubbock, and educations sessions by Jef Conn, Larry & Julie Doss, and Kerry Mobley. Along with the great presentations, the conference featured the Table Topics contest, the International Speech contest, and the district officer elections for the 2018-2019 year.
The newly elected District 23 Officers for 2018-2019 are: Saroj Baxter, Clifford Colvin, Mike Greer, MyChelle Andrews, Sarah Watson, Kenny Granville, Larry Buelow, Felecia Crull, Parker Waldrop.
