About Our Speakers

Dr. Patrice Caldwell, keynote speaker

Dr. Patrice Caldwell became the first female president of Eastern New Mexico University in September 2020 after serving as interim president since March 2020. Prior to this appointment, she had served in various positions at ENMU since 1980, when she began as an English professor. After four years at ENMU, she was selected as chair of the freshmen composition program and soon became dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She later worked in grant management before becoming director of Planning and Analysis and eventually vice president and chief of staff. A native of Los Angeles, she earned her undergraduate degree in English literature from the University of Southern California and her Ph.D. in Victorian literature at the University of California Los Angeles.

 

Michael Holian, DTM,
Region 3 International Director Candidate

Michael Holian, DTM, of Chandler, Arizona, is a technology delivery specialist for CSAA Insurance Group, an AAA insurer. At CSAA, he runs a governance board overseeing the consistent application of Agile methodologies, leads an international team of engineers in providing cutting-edge IT solutions and support, and serves as a Community Impact Champion, coordinating and participating in employer-sponsored volunteer needs. A Toastmasters member since 1991, he is a member of a corporate and a community club and has earned two Distinguished Toastmasters awards. He has served in numerous District 3 leadership positions including district director. He is running for 2021-2022 Toastmasters international director from Region 3.

 

TK O’Geary, DTM, keynote speaker

International Director TK O’Geary, DTM, of Albuquerque, works as a program manager for BAE Systems. Her responsibilities include leading a team of engineers in support of a global $10 billion USD government program; collaborating to develop a complex, integrated multi-agency schedule; and leading risk, issue, and opportunity management. Additionally, she owns and operates the TKO Performance Group, performing services such as facilitating strategic planning, consulting on performance excellence, and conducting data analysis. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. A Toastmaster since 1987 and former District 23 governor, she currently is an international director from Region 3 and joins us today in that capacity.

 

Antonio Colorado, DTM,
Region 3 International Director Candidate

Antonio Colorado, DTM, of Xalapa, Veracruz, is a project manager, trainer and speaker. He has collaborated in institutions and corporations such as the Presidency of the Mexican Republic and Pepsi, Inc., as a specialist in finance, marketing and management. In addition, he has worked in teaching and research, applying his theory to become an entrepreneur in product marketing and training consultation. He is a master’s candidate in organization administration and has a Bachelor of Accounting from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. A Toastmasters member since 2006, he has served in numerous District 34 leadership positions, including district director. He is running for 2021-2022 Toastmasters international director from Region 3.
