Through activities such as prepared speeches and Table Topics, I had a chance to practice my public speaking skills and get comfortable being at the front of a room. It wasn’t always easy, but by developing these skills on a consistent weekly basis, I saw results. I now actively use these skills in meetings and training sessions at work today, and the public speaking and leadership opportunities that Lobo Toastmasters provided were invaluable in developing my communication skills.”
