District 23’s first new club of the year, AQ G-Masters, chartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on August 1, 2019.
The club chartered as a corporate club within the local field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Membership includes FBI agents, analysts, and more. Senior leadership at the office has expressed an interest in what the program brings to the staff.
Although we refer to them as clubs, the FBI views AQ G-Masters as a class where their team will pick up valuable communication and leadership skills.
Sponsored by Nancy Risenhoover, TK O’Geary, and the ABQ Weekenders club, the club picked up two experienced Toastmasters as mentors: Frank Fisher and Lisa Marron. The team ensured that their officers received training and they are off to a great start.
