Hello District 23 Council members

I am pleased to announce the May District Council meeting and the 2014-2015 District 23 officer candidates. I asked our nominating committee chair – TK O’Geary, Distinguished Toastmaster, Immediate Past District Governor – to conduct a full nomination process for elected positions including candidate interviews (as TK requested Jana Barnhill to do for District 23 last year). The team delivered! Spending hours on this task.
District Council Business Meeting
According to Toastmaster records as of March 31, 2013, you are a member of the District Council (Club President, Club Vice President of Education, or an Area Governor, Division Governor, Servant Seven). You have the important responsibility of voting on District business including District 23 officers for next year.
The District Council meeting is May 3 at the Spring conference in El Paso. You must be present to vote. If you are unable to attend, please authorize a proxy to carry your vote(s). The Proxy Form can be found on the District 23 website, Downloads for Club Officers (click here). Each Toastmaster may carry up to 2 votes. District Executive Committee members each get a vote and may carry up to 3 votes.
